How It Works

Four signals.
One decision.

Select for Me doesn't show you a list of restaurants and ask you to choose. It looks at what's actually relevant right now and gives you one answer — the way a friend who knows you well would.

The decision process

1

You set up your food profile (once)

Diet, spice tolerance, allergies, health goals, favourite cuisines, religious restrictions. Takes two minutes, and every recommendation after that is built around it.

2

It reads your context automatically

The current time of day, real-time weather in your city, and what's trending around you — all pulled in without you typing anything.

3

You set your budget and choose order or cook

Tell it what you're willing to spend, and whether you want it delivered or you'd rather cook it yourself at home.

4

It gives you one decision, not a list

One dish, with the reasoning behind it. If you're ordering, direct links to Swiggy and Zomato with price comparison. If you're cooking, a full recipe with ingredients, steps, calories, and cook time.

What goes into the decision

🌡
Weather

Hot day → lighter, cooling food. Rainy evening → warm comfort food. Real-time data, not a guess.

🕐
Time of day

Breakfast logic is different from dinner logic. It knows the difference.

💰
Your budget

Every suggestion respects what you're actually willing to spend — for ordering or for groceries.

👤
Your profile

Diet, spice level, allergies, and health goals are never ignored, no matter what's suggested.

Log in and it gets smarter over time

Using Select for Me as a guest works fully — your profile saves to your browser and every recommendation respects it. But if you log in, the AI also remembers what you've been recommended before and what you actually picked.

Over time it starts noticing patterns — if you keep gravitating towards South Indian breakfasts or always lean spicy, it leans into that. It also avoids suggesting the same dish on repeat, and occasionally nudges you toward something adjacent to what you already love instead of something completely random. The more you use it logged in, the better its decisions get.
